Strength Training Printables

One of the best parts of attending a class at the gym is showing up knowing someone else has planned the workout. At least, that has been my experience. And as a high school teacher, I am able to frequent classes 2.5 months of the year, but ... what about the other 9.5? When I first began the transition from classes to independent work I was daunted. Already I had to make time for the gym, and I suddenly had to make time for planning, too? I felt overwhelmed and under-confident. So I get it. I have been there. And now I am here to give you an easier time by providing structured, targetted strength circuits that you can print (or screenshot) and take to the gym for a workout of your own. I will add to this regularly, so be sure to check back for more! If you have any specific requests, go to the "contact" form under "more" and send me your ideas. I'd love to develop specific items that will work best for you. 

Each workout not labeled as "mini" is lined out to be about 50 minutes. However, you can always eliminate a set to shorten it or combine with another set (from a different workout) to lengthen it. I always suggest adding some rowing, running, or cycling to any of these workouts for additional cardio. Any "mini" workout is abbreviated and can fit into a 10-30 minute time slot depending how many times you go through each of the sets outlined within the workout.

I do want to preface these workouts by saying that I am not a weight training coach. I love weight training, but I am not here to teach lifts or to say which lifts your body should do. Before attempting any of these workouts, work with a lifting coach to 1) learn proper lifting technique and 2) determine if there are lifts your body should avoid. After that, please access these printables as much as you'd like.
