Brooke is open, likable, and fun. She laughs at herself and that makes it easier for me to laugh at myself too. I like that she offers alternative options for moves that might not feel great that day, and I appreciate having my hesitance about some moves validated as being acceptable and part of the practice. I like when she describes that even thinking about trying to move your body parts a certain way is achieving what we are going for. I don't know that I will ever get any part of me off the floor for that stinking crow pose, but my mind can at least send the signals and (most days) that feels like some level of success - especially when Brooke reminds me that it counts:) I like that she teaches us as we move, as opposed to stopping yoga to talk a lot. I like the variety of her flows but also find comfort in the poses that we go back to and in which I feel some measure of familiarity and comfort.
